John Reno: Music
Timothy's Bar & Grill
(John Reno & The Half-Fast Creekers)
Randy Couch
A true story about a little pub where my buddies and I spent our wayward youth. It's a Blockbuster now... probably a good thing.
Take a look at that old man
Sitting across the way
He may not look like much to you
But he drinks three pitchers a day
And he's been coming here
For twenty years
And he's just a little over the hill
But it wouldn't be the same without him
At Timothy's Bar & Grill
Now we're all headed out for Timothy's
For a Thursday night on the town
To drink some beer
And to have some fun
And drag the rules to the ground
The first one we meet is Bobby
He's our friend in blue
At the door
And I can't count the times
I've had too much
And he's pulled me off of the floor
Now the girls can drink for free tonight
And Kevin pours 'em strong
And the sororities arrive
by chartered bus
As the frat boys tag along
The frat boys don't much
Like me no
But the girls don't
Mind the trill
And a Greek never beat "the Kid" to the punch
At Timothy's Bar & Grill
I drink to the "Cardinal Puff"
For the first time tonight
I drink to the "Cardinal Puff Puff"
For the second time
I drink to the "Cardinal Puff, Puff, Puff"
For the third and final time tonight
Once a Cardinal, always a Cardinal
I bet you couldn't do it right
Take a look at this old man
I'm sitting across the way
And I may not look like
Much to you
But I drink three pitchers a day
And I've been coming here
For a lot of years
And I'm just a little over the hill
But it wouldn't be the same without me
